Distance Learning Packets For Kindergarten, Preschool, and 1st Grade
During this time of school closures, many wonderful companies are making their online resources available to elementary students, but for many families who are sharing computers in order to complete work, or have limited access to the Internet — completing school through online means may not be the best or most accessible course. Additionally, for some students, completing school work on a screen may increase their daily screen time to an amount that makes them tired, irritable, and unhappy.
That is why I love, my April school to home homework packets that you can send home for students to complete. This work can be completed at a pace that works best for each individual family and without a screen. I use these every year, and my students and parents love the easy, non-scheduled format. The packets are written in a sequence to match typical learning in the classroom for a specific month and keeps parents abreast of where their child is academically.
