The Earth is in our Hands: Earth Day Thematic Teaching

Earth Day is April 22. Looking for a quick and independent project to take note of this day? Have your students try this:

  1. Cut out a blue circle.
  2. Glue some irregular green shapes onto the blue.
  3. Place a pair of hands (trace hands or use die-cut hands) so they are holding the “earth.”
  4. Make a sign (i.e. The earth is in our hands.) to place between the hands.
