Valentine Play Dough
There are many great sensory activities that you can use in your classroom during the month of February. One of my favorites is Valentine Play dough! This dough will last the entire month if stored in an airtight container.
Mix Together
1 cup flour
1 cup salt
2 tsp. Cream of Tarter
1 cup water (colored red with food coloring)
1 tsp Vegetable Oil
A few drops of Vanilla (Or scent of your choice)
Directions
Mix all dry ingredients together and then add the oil and water. Stir. Cook for 3-5 minutes on medium heat, stirring constantly. When the dough pulls away from the sides and you see a faint skin forming on the dough, remove from heat. Place on counter and knead until the dough becomes soft and smooth. Cool to room temperature before placing in air tight container.
